Recognized for Process Timeline and Adding the Dimension of Time to Managing Critical Business Processes

San Diego, Ca — February 25, 2013 — BP Logix, developer of BPM software that accelerates time-to-value, today announced that, for the third consecutive year, it has been named to KMWorld’s 2013 list of 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management. The recognition is a result of the company’s contribution to knowledge management, specifically the functionality of Process Director, and its BPM and workflow software product. The award, in its 13th year, is compiled by KM practitioners, theorists, analysts, customers and colleagues and is an acknowledgment of companies whose technologies set them apart.

"Criteria for inclusion varies, but all winning companies have things in common. Each has either helped to create a market, redefine one or enhance one, and they all share two things—the velocity of innovation and the agility to serve their customers," says Hugh McKellar, KMWorld Editor-in-Chief.

This recognition builds on key developments and milestones over the past year:

  • Record Performance: Results ending for the last quarter ending January 31, 2013 contributed to a revenue increase of 55% over the prior year’s sales for the same period. A significant factor in this growth is the acceptance of Process Director’s process intelligence and predictive analytics capability designed for both mid-market and enterprise customers. New customers include Vulcan Materials Corporation, Bechtel, Ridgeworth Financial, Platt River Power Authority, Contract Leasing Corporation, Baton Rouge Community College and New York Air Brake.
  • Product Innovation: The company recently received patent approval for its Process Timeline™ technology, which integrates the dimension of time into business process management as well as Process Timeline’s process intelligence which enables process owners to measure and predict process execution time. These capabilities, in addition to many others noted in the patent, empower process owners to simulate potential scenarios in real time, assess the impact of alternative actions, and make their businesses more predictable, compliant, and efficient.

Process Director fuses traditional workflow automation with the Process Timeline technology to enhance the efficiency and reliability of virtually any business process.
